CLASSWORK

Video Production | Final Video Project

This video was my group’s final project for our video production class. The concept centered around a never-ending nightmare.  It was an incredibly fun project to work on and really showcased our group’s imagination and creativity. We all contributed to camera operation and assisted with the editing process, including finding sound effects and additional assets to enhance the overall atmosphere and impact of the piece.

Message Preparation | Research Video

This was my final project for Message Preparation, a semester-long assignment focused on researching Margaret Rhoads through the university archives. My group partner and I gathered historical materials and developed the story based on our findings. We conducted an interview as part of the project and I was responsible for editing the entire video and bringing what we discovered to life.

Multi-Camera Studio Production | Student Testimonial

As part of my multi-camera production class, I was tasked with conducting an interview with a student and creating a short video to accompany it. I shot a series of clips to overlay with the interview footage. To prepare, I developed a shot list and then captured all the necessary footage. For the interview portion, I used a three-point lighting setup and filmed with my Sony a6700. I also used a DJI gimbal to capture smooth B-roll shots.

Video Production | Track

This was my first time filming sports. I connected with a few sprinters on the track team and asked if they would be part of the project. I captured footage of them warming up and running, and I conducted two interviews. I shot everything on a Canon DSLR and used RØDE Wireless mics.
